About Us
Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus (KK4Jesus) is a long-term, focused ministry that began in Belize, Central America in 2005. KK4Jesus is all about making disciples and growing meaningful, Christ-based relationships between US & Canadian Churches and Belizean villages (schools, churches, and communities) in a true, long-term partnership setting that focuses on developing disciples.
Working alongside the people in the southern part of Belize, KK4Jesus shares the Love of Jesus by implementing children and student ministry into public schools (presently 12 schools/ some 5,000+ children each week) and local churches. We have established school feeding and food distribution programs (close to 5 million meals and counting!) with the long term goal of moving toward self sustaining community gardens. For the past TWELVE years, we have organized quarterly medical teams (yes, every 90 days… 48 teams and counting) with free medicines, vitamins and care utilizing “mobile/go to them” clinics where we “share the love of Jesus and also do a little medical”.
We provide ongoing leadership development and training programs to teachers, pastors, parents, and young people so that they may be “equipped” to grow and replicate. We also assist with a variety of basic physical needs such as clothing, shelter, educational scholarships, and personal counseling. KK4J organizes Family Impact Journeys for partners whereby families (with children as young as five) can come, develop ongoing relationships, and “do life” with their partners.
Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus core ministry enables Belizean churches, schools, and communities to receive the supplies and training they need in order to implement Biblical based discipleship ministry. Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus provides bibles, computers, projection and sound systems, curriculum, DVDs, training material, and other basic supplies. These items act as a shared resource between the local church and school in each village.
Partner Churches in the US and Canada are paired up with churches, schools, and community groups in specific Belizean villages. Our partners are encouraged to develop long-lasting relationships through letters, email’s and videos. The Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus team on the ground visits each school once a week for regular Children’s ministry. Partner Churches join that ministry by visiting Belize on their very own Family Impact Journey. Being personally invested in the individual lives of kids and their families provides a meaningful “konnection” that allows partners to “do life together”.
